Mobile Plant Fitter (Construction Machinery) Various Parts of NI

Based in Northern Ireland my client is a very successful and renowned dealership who sell a variety of heavy and light plant based machinery. They are looking for applicants from all counties across Northern Ireland and you will be allocated work in your area. To be suitable for this Mobile Plant Fitter position you must have recent “hands on” experience working as a Fitter in either a plant dealership, HGV dealership, plant hire, building / civil contractor, forklift, agricultural equipment or similar environment. As a Mobile Plant Fitter you will be offered a starting rate of £16.50 - £18.50 per hour depending on experience, overtime is paid at time and a half, van, laptop, tool allowance, mobile, pension and OEM training courses.

Role – Mobile Plant Fitter

• Carrying out service, repair, maintenance and inspections on a range of state-of-the-art construction machinery.
• Diagnosing faults.
• Carrying out warranty repairs.
• Visual inspections, adjustment operations and testing.
• Stripping fitting and replacing components on construction machinery.
• Fully conversant with machinery hydraulics and electrics.
• Responsible for the fitting of mechanical/ hydraulic components on new and used construction vehicles/machinery.
