Requirements
- 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C) or equivalent, one of which should be in English or relevant NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
- Minimum 1 year paid or voluntary experience of working in a Health Care or Education setting
- Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an enhanced Access NI check and compliance due to the nature of this work
- Up to date Immunisation records to complete a full occupational health review
- Ability to build rapport with ease
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work in fast paced user-centric environment
Responsibilities
Assist Radiographers in the smooth and efficient running of imaging lists
Ensure that the rooms and relevant equipment are prepared in readiness for patient examinations.
Assist the Radiographers and Radiologists as required throughout the examination.
Collect patients from reception / waiting areas and ensure that they are given any
assistance required before, during and after examination. Depending on the specific
procedure, patients may require to be chaperoned.
Perform IV Cannulations in line with Trust Policy for Band 3 Staff and service needs.
Assist in ensuring accurate record keeping under Ionising
Ensure that stock levels are monitored and maintained in the examination rooms.
Ensure that the examination rooms are maintained in a clean and tidy state.
Ensure that the working environment is safe, and ensure that all defects, faults and
incidents are reported to the relevant Line Manager.
