We are seeking to recruit an Early Years Assistant ( 22.5 hours, Term Time) - Strabane Surestart - Plumbridge Centre.

This can be a single role or split as follows:

• 15 hours per week, Developmental Programme for 2–3-year-olds, Monday – Thursday afternoons
• 7.5 hours per week, Creche, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings

Our energised and passionate Early Years staff provide excellent care to our 0 - 4 year olds. As part of the Early Years team you will also develop and deliver parent and child play sessions, giving precious opportunities for fun and enjoyable parent/child experiences.

Essential Criteria

• Qualification in Early Years Childcare and Education, CCLD, NVQ Level 2 or above
• Demonstrable experience of working with children 0 - 4 years in a paid or voluntary capacity
• A knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
