Hays Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner Candidate for our client, a well-established and reputable company within their field.

Your new role

• Support the team with financial and commercial insights.
• Provide advice to help make financial decisions.
• Report and explain total operating costs and revenue.
• Collaborate with different teams to share financial insights for better decision-making.
• Handle monthly financial reports, future forecasts, and medium-term planning for Northern Ireland's costs and revenue.
• Link operational metrics to financial performance, spot risks and opportunities, and create improvement plans.
• Manage costs related to labour, energy, marketing, fleet, fuel, supply chain, and more.
• Analyse budget vs. actual revenue performance, maintain financial accountability and control, and identify revenue trends.
• Work with commercial and planning teams to identify risks and opportunities and make sound commercial decisions.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Fully qualified accountant or further qualification to support specialism.
• The ability to utilise data, analysis, and insights to drive business performance.
• Collaborative team player with strong leadership skills, balancing support and accountability.
• Proven experience to plan, facilitate, and complete finance programs.
• Lead and manage conflicting priorities to ensure successful delivery of key finance programs.
• Set agendas, identify opportunities, and uphold best practices in finance.
