Independent Assessor of Complaints (IAC).
The Public Prosecution Service for Northern Ireland (PPS) seeks to appoint an Independent Assessor of Complaints (IAC).
The IAC plays a vital role in the overall complaint handling arrangements within the PPS. In examining the complaints referred by complainants, the role holder works from an independent and impartial standpoint.
The Independent Assessor also oversees the development of guidelines and protocols relating to complaint handling and can comment on the procedures used and how they were applied.
The fees payable in relation to these responsibilities will be £353.40 per day (pro rata based on a 7.5 hour working day).
