Agriculture Lecturer- Greenmount

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Agriculture Lecturer to join our team at Greenmount, Antrim

Location: Greenmount, Antrim
Duration: 11 Months
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, 37 Hours per week
Rate of Pay: £19.55 Per Hour

Key Responsibilities:

To plan and deliver to students enrolled in Level 2,3 and 4 Agriculture courses on a range of topics including but not limited to livestock production, Grassland management, Health and Safety and business management

To set and markstudent assessments, providing feedback and monitoring student progress on the course;

To tutor student groups and individual students

To ensure compliance with CAFRE and Awarding body quality assurance systems;

To attend teaching team meetings.

The applicant must possess an Honours Degree in Agriculture or related discipline.

To deliver on these courses staff must be technically knowledgeable in the areas above.

Essential Criteria:

• An Honours Degree in Agriculture or a related discipline.
• Technical knowledge in Animal Production, Crop Production, Sustainability, and Agri-business Management.
• Successful candidates will be subject to an Access NI check.

Desired Experience:
To deliver on these courses staff must be technically knowledgeable in the areas above.
Previous experience of delivery and assessment of student learning is also beneficial.
