Contracts Manager (Co. Down)

Hays Belfast are recruiting for a Contracts Manager role on behalf of a leading yet expanding specialist joinery and interior fit out contractor based in County Down. Your new role

As Contracts Manager, you will be an important part of the contractual management team with a variety of responsibilities while ensuring the successful delivery of the contract.The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparing contract budget
• Chairing a weekly project status review meeting
• Weekly reporting on project progress
• Managing subcontractors
• Managing site installations
• Managing all aspects of contracts while working alongside the commercial department
• Adhering to company KPI targets set
• The preparation of the contract budget
• Communicating with senior management, project employees and the client
• Working on projects in numerous locations throughout the world

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a good understanding and at least 3 years’ experience of working within construction / fit out at a similar level. You would be able to demonstrate the ability of successfully managing the delivery of a project or contract from the start through to handover. Being able to work on your own initiative while showcasing your leadership and communication skills to achieve the best results possible. A proficient knowledge and ability to use Microsoft applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. This role will involve limited travel throughout the year.
