VANRATH are pleased to be supporting a successful SME business based in Greater Belfast in their recruitment of a Finance Manager within a newly established role. This is a new role due to the continued expansion of the business, and will assume responsibility for managing a small finance team, while taking control of the management accountant processes.

This is initially a temporary role for a period of 6 – 9 months which will then have the potential to become permanent. To be considered for the Finance Manager role it is essential to be a fully qualified Accountant, ideally with experience of leading a small team in a similar environment.

Ideal start date of March 2025!

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Supervisory experience
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Strong systems skills including Advanced Excel
• Available at short notice

What you’ll do

• Responsible for production of monthly and year end accounts
• Produce management reports & variance analysis
• Budgetary control
• Overseeing finance team, including recruitment and training
• Overall responsibility for transactional processes
