Are you looking for a Mechanical Estimator role? Interested in working for a leading mechanical engineering contractor.

VANRATH are recruiting a Mechanical Estimator to work on innovative and sustainable projects across the island of Ireland

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysing drawings and prepare and maintain cost estimates for review and tender submission.
• Coordinate within the Design, Commercial and Engineering teams in preparation for tender review and sign off.
• Able to produce own take offs
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Happy to attend all mid and post tender meetings
• Liaising with current and new clients
• Updating tender documents via companies system
• To be involved with the complete cycle of the tender process

The Ideal Person:

• 3 + years’ experience working as an Estimator, ideally in a mechanical setting
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in cost estimation and financial analysis.
• Commercial experience required
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
