Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of cost estimates and tenders for construction projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine cost structures.
• Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Develop value engineering solutions to optimize project costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, quantity surveyors, and clients to refine bid proposals.
• Evaluate risks and opportunities associated with each project.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market trends, material costs, and labour rates.
• Support contract negotiations and pre-construction planning.

The Ideal Person:

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and pricing strategies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
