We are currently recruiting for Domestic Service Assistants in Bangor.
Start date: ASAP
Rate of pay: £12.05
Duration: Upto 9 months
Hours of work: Full time 37 Hours per week - Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Location: Woodlands Juvenile Justice Centre - Bangor
Key Responsibilities:
The post holder will work as part of a domestic services team to carry out general cleaning and domestic duties in all areas within Woodlands. The role will be carried out in a secure residential environment ensuring a good standard of hygiene is maintained.
- Carry out all general cleaning and domestic duties;
- Complete regular checks that all areas of Woodlands are supplied with adequate cleaning, toiletry and bedding items;
- Ensure all domestic rubbish is emptied and disposed of or recycled in the appropriate bins;
- Carry out duties in the central laundry when required, ensuring and efficient and timely laundry service;
- Advise the internal maintenance team in the event of blocked toilets/sinks or any other damages or hazards they have identified;

Essential Criteria applicants must have:
- Experience work in the role of domestic assistant/cleaner
- Experience working in a laundry environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to use your own initiative
** Must complete an Access NI **
