Maintenance/Engineering Team Leader

MCS Group is recruiting a Maintenance Team Lead, to join a market-leading organisation that is investing in people, processes, and plant to drive growth and future success.

We are looking for a Maintenance/Engineering Team Leader to take ownership of factory projects, new installations, and daily maintenance operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage a team of maintenance engineers, ensuring the smooth running of equipment and facilities.
• Oversee engineering projects, factory upgrades, and new installations from concept to completion.
• Develop and manage the maintenance schedule, including planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement (CI) and lean initiatives to enhance production output and efficiency.
• Provide hands-on support to the team along with working with the wider team to identify process improvements

The successful candidate:

• Strong maintenance management and engineering experience in a factory or manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and implement improvements.
• Experience in maintenance planning, PPM, and managing a maintenance function.
• Interest in automation, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
• A hands-on leader who can support the team while driving strategic improvements.
