About the role:

  • £15.70 per hour in a stable, public sector role
  • Monday–Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm schedule over a 37-hour week
  • Develop your skills in a diverse finance and transaction processing environment.
  • Work across agency timesheets, group billing, corporate credit card management, Travel & Subsistence, and employee benefits support
  • Public sector

What you’ll do:
  • Agency Timesheet Administration: Process weekly timesheets, maintain robust controls, reconcile accounts, and support agency staff.
  • Group Billing: Extract, review, and reconcile monthly utility bills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Corporate Credit Card Management: Oversee card usage and help implement a new reconciliation system.
  • Travel & Subsistence Support: Manage both agency and staff payment processing on Selenity, ensuring smooth operations and control.
  • Employee Benefits Support: Manage access to the benefits portal, provide helpdesk support, and create training materials and communications.
Criteria:
  • Qualifications: AAT final exams (Level 4), IATI (Level 5), CCAB foundation papers (Level 5), a relevant degree (Level 6), or HND (Level 5) in Accounting, Finance, Business (or equivalent)
OR
  • Candidates with 3 years’ relevant experience may also be considered
  • Experience: At least 2 years in a finance/transaction processing role with advanced spreadsheet skills, double entry bookkeeping, reconciliation expertise, and experience with group billing or payroll processes
