Role Overview

As a Client Director, you will manage a diverse portfolio of mid-market clients, engaging with business owners, Managing Directors, and Finance Directors to assess risk needs and design tailored insurance solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers.
• Identifying new business opportunities and cross-selling additional services.
• Managing your pipeline of prospects and seeking referrals from existing clients.
• Growing revenue and profitability within your client portfolio to meet annual targets.

Skills and Experience for Success

• FCII/ACII or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in client relationship management within the insurance industry, particularly with commercial risks.
• Experience with mid-market commercial and corporate insurance risks is desirable.
• Strong commercial acumen, understanding market dynamics and business drivers.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of risk management concepts.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Client-focused with a consultative approach and commitment to excellence.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years in the insurance industry, with significant experience in new business generation.
• An existing commercial client book to build upon.
