Litigation Solicitor – Lisburn
MCS are delighted to partner with a well-established law firm in Lisburn who are seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a strong background in civil litigation to develop their career in a dynamic and client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of litigation matters, including civil, commercial, and property disputes.
• Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Drafting pleadings, legal arguments, and case strategies.
• Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients at all stages of the litigation process.
• Liaising with clients, counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure effective case progression.
• Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Essential Criteria:

• Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate in Northern Ireland.
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in litigation.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Excellent legal drafting and research abilities.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
• Strong communication and client management skills.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience handling a mix of civil, commercial, and property litigation.
• Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution methods.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
