Maintenance Electrician – Manufacturing – Derry – £45,000

The Role:
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all electrical systems and equipment within the plant. You will carry out preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs, working closely with the production team to minimise downtime and maintain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
- Work with motors, control panels, PLCs, sensors, and automated systems.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise breakdowns.
- Assist with machinery installations, upgrades, and modifications.
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to resolve any issues efficiently.
What You’ll Need:
? Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
? Strong experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
? Knowledge of PLC fault finding, control panels, and automation systems.
? Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults quickly and effectively.
? A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
