Job Title: Electrical/Mechanical Engineer with Project Management Duties
Location: Belfast Hybrid working
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in project management to lead and coordinate key technical projects within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation and upgrade of various systems, ensuring all aspects of the projects are executed in accordance with company procedures, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the upgrade of key systems across a range of operations, ensuring compliance with company project management and control procedures.
- Oversee the installation and fitment of hardware and technology elements, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.
- Manage the development of detailed project schedules, risk plans, and timelines, identifying key phases, interdependencies, and milestones.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring spend remains within allocated budgets and reporting any variances.
- Coordinate the implementation and performance monitoring of on-site and remote systems, including network connectivity, CCTV, and other technology solutions, ensuring they meet both operational and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, ensuring the smooth integration of new systems.
- Ensure all technical installations meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to maintain timelines and project objectives.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong background in project management, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in coordinating the fitment and installation of technical systems and hardware.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Ability to manage budgets and provide clear financial reporting on project performance.
- Previous experience in a similar engineering or project management role is preferred.
