The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the management of the corporate financial accounting function and ensuring the provision of effective and efficient financial accounts preparation to the Trust. If you are interested in gaining experience within a sought after sector, this is the perfect foot in the door opportunity.

These are initially interim contract positions for a period of 6 months and can offer the opportunity for an immediate start.

About you

• Qualified Accountant
• Public sector experience (desirable)
• Strong financial accounting experience
• Proven ability to influence, interact and consult with senior leaders
• Strong IT skills including MS Excel

What you’ll do

• Manage monthly financial accounting arrangements
• Reconcile and review of all control account balances
• Compile year end financial accounts from trial balance
• Maintenance and development of all financial systems
• Ad hoc support to wider finance team
