MCS Group are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturing company in Enniskillen, currently recruiting an HR / L&D Officer to join their growing team.

The role

To join an effective HR function performing employee Training and Development activities in support of the Company business plan.

The main responsibilities:

• Providing guidance and assistance to managers and employees on HR-related issues.
• Maintaining precise and legally compliant HR documentation.
• Overseeing a smooth and efficient onboarding experience.
• Compiling reports and interpreting workforce data.
• Assisting in the development, execution, and evaluation of HR policies, procedures, and frameworks, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and organisational objectives.
• Supporting probationary reviews and performance management activities.
• Assisting with disciplinary procedures when required.
• Additionally, you will play a vital role in executing the organisation’s People Strategy by coordinating, managing, and delivering training and development programmes.
• Leading the Apprenticeship and Graduate development schemes.
• Designing and implementing employee training plans, encouraging continuous professional growth, and assessing effectiveness.
• Ensure accurate data entry, manage the learning management system, and coordinate with external training providers.

The ideal candidate:

• Previous HR experience in a similar environment
• Knowledge of NI & ROI employment legislation
• Employee relations experience
• CIPD or relevant 3rd level qualification
