VANRATH are delighted to be supporting a recognisable Public Sector employer based in Antrim in their recruitment of a Financial Performance Officer on an initial temporary contract. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Financial Performance Officer will be a key member of the Financial Services team and will have responsibility for managing and developing the management accounting section.

The Financial Performance Office will work closely with the wider finance team, ensuring accounting standards are adhered through setting policies and procedures by providing financial guidance to all levels of management.

About you

• Qualified Accountant/Qualified by Experience
• Financial & Management Accountant experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Available at short notice
• Ability to work as part of a team, alongside using own initiative

What you’ll do

• Control the preparation of revenue and capital estimates
• Participate in post project evaluations of revenue and capital schemes
• Develop management accounts function
• Maintain and develop fixed asset register
• Develop and produce corporate financial plan
