Bid Writer/ Bid Manager - Belfast
A well-recognised contractor based in Co. Antrim is seeking to recruit a Bid Writer/ Bid Manager to add to the existing pre-construction team.
The successful candidate will be expected to manage the process, compiling and producing bids in order to achieve desired contracts. This company cover various sectors including housing, public sector and commercial installation.
Job duties:
- Identify opportunities via online client portals & tender notices
- Retrieve PQQ/ tender documentation
- Undertake and complete PQQ submissions and technical compliance information to accompany tender bids and responses to expressions of interest
- Complete submissions require to pre-set deadlines
- Ensure all bids are accurately completed and represent the company experience and abilities in the best possible way
- Develop a good understanding of awarding authorities vision, strategy and plans in order to maximise new business generation opportunities
The successful application will have Bid Writing/ PQQ experience within the construction and preferably specialist mechanical or electrical contracting sector.
You will have a firm understanding of the tender/ bid process and the awarding authorities' requirements.
You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills & strong computer literacy skill.
You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines, and have an eye for detail.
