Substitute Teacher, North Belfast (Temporary)

Honeycomb is delighted to be assisting an award winning secondary school situated in North Belfast who are currently in need for a substitute teacher (required to be GTCNI & NISTR registered). Free parking.

The Client - This highly credible and widely renowned school who have upheld recognition across a range of awards in recent years strive for excellence across a broad and varied curriculum. Currently due to staff related illness this school has a requirement for a temporary ongoing substitute teacher. Our role will be to facilitate initial engagement to which the successful candidate will then be directly

The Role - will include but will not be limited to the following duties:

• Covering lessons across a range of general subjects
• Pastoral care duty
• Break and lunch cover involvement
• wider duties

The Person – To work collectively and collaboratively to drive efficiency.

• Relevant Teaching Qualification (whether under or post grad certification - QTS or PGCE).
• Registration details/ Reference number for GCTNI & NISTR (of which includes proof of enhanced access NI).
• Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work as part of a team or under own initiative in order to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A high level of IT competence in Microsoft Word and Microsoft excel.

Desired:

• Preferable experience in teaching Maths
• NQT portfolio completed
• Previous experience in a similar substitute teaching post
