 The Opportunity

Cpl is actively recruiting for a dynamic and experienced HR Professional to join a thriving manufacturing business in Ballynahinch as HR Manager covering a maternity contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join this successful team in a standalone role overseeing all HR related practices for this business.

Your new role

As HR Manager you will have the opportunity to shape and drive this company’s organisational culture, employee experience, and talent strategy. You will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, fostering a workplace that prioritises inclusivity, innovation, and high performance.

We are looking for someone to take ownership of all aspects of HR including culture, employee well-being, legal compliance, policies, pay structures, employee relations, industrial relations and recruitment.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements and best practice
  • End to end recruitment activities including annual monitoring returns to ECNI
  • Coaching and mentoring the management team in ER issues and cases
  • Updating HR data to inform and support the management team
  • Effective oversight of absence management procedures.
  • Responsible for the administration duties and managing all stages of the employee life cycle such as on-boarding, development, retention and off-boarding
  • Drive the Wellbeing strategy and continue the wellbeing initiatives with the Wellbeing Champions
  • Administration of employee records and maintaining GDPR compliance.

Essential Criteria

  • Educated to A-levels or equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a HR officer/generalist role
  • Minimum level 5 CIPD qualified
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of current employment legislation and best practice
  • IT literate with strong skills in MS Office applications.
  • Positive work attitude
