VANRATH are pleased to be partnering with a well known public sector based in Belfast, who require a Management Accountant to join their team on what would initial be a contract basis for 6 months with a view to being made permanent.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the team in the preparation, reconciliation and analysis of financial data for monthly reporting.

About you

• Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience
• Management Accountant experience
• Strong IT skills, including MS Excel
• High attention to detail
• Available at short notice

What you’ll do

• Production of monthly management accounts.
• Budgeting and variance analysis
• Reconciliation of key balances & P&L accounts
• Maintenance of bank accounts including bank reconciliations
