Planner (Transport) - Mallusk

VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a highly reputable firm with the Recruitment of a Transport Planner for a Maternity Cover which will last at least 12 Months. This is a growing and dynamic Office based in Newtownabbey with lots of room for progression and growth.

Hours - Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 5pm & Friday 7:30am – 4pm

Salary - £24,000 - £28,000 + Negotiable Depending on Experience

Responsibilities:

• Planning deliveries and collections for team of local drivers.
• Creation of load lists for next morning deliveries.
• Monitoring of driver’s collection notes ensuring accuracy.
• Ensuring all contracts for deliveries are signed and received in a timely fashion.
• Liaise and communicate with other departments.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery and collection requirements.
• General transport administrative duties.

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience in an administration role.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
• The ability to work under pressure in a busy fast paced office.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Customer Focused attitude with excellent telephone etiquette.
