Operations Manager Designate

Warren point Harbour Authority is recruiting a permanent Full-time Operations Manager Designate to join our busy team. The role will familiarise themselfs with the safe processes and people at play within the Port during a targeted handover period of 6 months from the incumbent Operations Manager, whilst contributing world class insight into the modernisation of safe Port performance.

Essential criteria includes:

• Experience in a senior leadership role of driving transformational change within a complex working environment: delivering operational efficiencies that favourably impact on the P&L.
• Safety focus and risk management experience.
• Experience In a problem-solving environment.
• Senior management experience within Ports, FMCG logistics, construction or engineering sector.
• Proven track record of staff development and succession planning.
• Digitalisation experience.

Desirable criteria includes:

• Experience in working with and negotiating with Trade Unions.
• Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
• Clean driving license

Salary: attractive, reflective of qualifications and experience, commensurate with the seniority of the role. Package includes electric car and contributory pension fund.
