MCS Group is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer (Deskside) for a 6 week project with a global Professional Services firm in Belfast. This IT Support Engineer (Deskside) will get involved in a Windows 11 roll-out for the site. You will work on-site in the office, providing deskside support across hardware, equipment set up and the roll-out project.

The Role:
You will provide technical support for laptops, mobiles, desktops and AV Equipment.
You will provide technical support to internal customers, assisting them by phone, email, and face-to-face.
You will be the visual face of IT and provide excellent service to your customers across the organisation.
As IT Support Engineer, you will communicate with stakeholders across the business at all levels of seniority.
You will play an important part in the roll-out of Windows 11 for the site.
The Person
Previous experience in a similar Desk-side / hardware support role is essential.
Given the nature of the project, prior roll-out experience is preferred, particularly experience working with Windows 10/11.
You will have demonstrable experience of working in an IT Customer Services role.
You will manage tickets with BMC Helix Service Management tool- prior experience with this or a similar tool is preferable.
Ideally, you will have hands on experience with AV / Video Conferencing equipment.
Previous experience with Apple products / iMacs is desirable.
You will thrive on providing great customer service, with proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels.
This is an on-site position, with 5 days per week on site in the Belfast City Centre office.
Salary: £27,000 p.a. (£13.85 per hour)
Duration: 6 week project
