My client is a successful Distribution and Shipping company with
headquarters based in the Belfast Harbour area, they operate out of 13
different ports/locations across the UK and Ireland, including Belfast, Dublin,
Hull and Liverpool. Over the last 40 years they have built up an excellent
reputation of putting their clients first, whilst delivering excellent customer
service.
They provide container cargo handling, warehousing and
logistics services to many of the world’s largest timber and paper companies,
they are market leaders within GB & Ireland in this sector.
They seek to recruit a Customer Service / Logistics
Administrator to join their friendly team. You are often the first and last
point of contact with customers, as a key player your work helps ensure the
smooth running of the customer care department.
Job Duties
-
Respond to customer stock enquiries, raising
internal orders / picking lists.

Liaise with colleagues in operations and transport
to ensure excellent customer service.

Update warehouse stock levels on control system.

Control all associated paperwork for clearance, process
payments before release.

Organise gate passes for customer collections.

Issue stock and delivery reports to customers
and managers as required.

Liaise with departments and communicate progress
with client.
Skills / Criteria
-
Recent administration experience in a
warehousing and logistics environment.

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office,
particularly Excel and Word.

Ability to operating multiple computer systems
on a daily basis.

Excellent organisational, analytical and
problem-solving skills.
-
Be good at managing time and prioritising tasks.
-
Maintain Attention to detail and accuracy even
whilst multi-tasking.
-
Able to develop good relationships with
customers and colleagues.

Excellent communication skills at different
levels across the business.
Client is offering a competitive starting salary of £26,000.
Hours of work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, (Hybrid option available), some
overtime available. 28 days holiday, Contributory Pension Scheme, Life
