HSEQ Officer

Bela Recruitment is hiring a Health & Safety Officer to work from the Dungannon area, Tyrone area of Northern Ireland.

Salary – £40,000 - £50,000
Location – Very easy to commute to from Dungannon, Armagh, Portadown or Cookstown.
VISA – No visa sponsorships or on restricted visa status.

Responsibilities
· Support the HSEQ Manager and wider business by maintaining and improving ISO & HSEQ processes.
· Conduct audits, identify non-compliance and implement improvements.
· Perform site inspections, ensuring compliance and best practices among all staff and sub-contractors.
· Conduct risk assessments, liaise with statutory authorities, subcontractors and customers and provide detailed reports.
· Ensure subcontractors HSEQ compliance & documentation is correct.
· Investigate incidents, report findings and enhance processes.
· Promote a strong HSEQ culture across the whole business.

Requirements
· 5-10 years of HSEQ experience, ideally construction, civils or utilities.
· Strong knowledge of ISO standards & compliance, with ability to embed a culture of compliance.
· Experience conducting audits, best practice implementation and working with staff & sub-contractors to achieve HSEQ goals.
· Degree in an HSEQ related subject and/or NEBOSH qualification and commitment to continuous learning.
· Strong - IT Skills, reporting presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
· Driving Licence, willing and able to travel to sites across NI.

Rewards
£40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
