Plumber (Public Sector)

Are you an experienced plumber looking for a rewarding opportunity in the public sector? Our client, a reputable public sector organization, is seeking a dedicated and skilled plumber to join their team. This is your chance to contribute to a modern, professional, and responsive service supporting the maintenance and improvement of housing stock across Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake plumbing tasks such as installing bathroom suites, kitchen replacements, general pipework, fitting cylinders, tanks, and radiators.
• Perform inspections and maintenance of plumbing systems, including first and second fix work.
• Carry out multi-skilled tasks like plastering, tiling, painting, and joinery as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring tenant safety and satisfaction.
• Accurately record and report job details through electronic systems.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety protocols, including the use of PPE and lone working devices.

Essential Criteria:

• Completed a recognized plumbing apprenticeship (time-served or skills-based).
• Minimum of 2 years post-apprenticeship experience working in property maintenance or improvement.
• Ability to perform a range of plumbing tasks independently without reliance on other trades.
• Knowledge of current Health & Safety requirements in maintenance/repair environments.
• A valid full driving license.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience in response maintenance services.
• C1 driving license category.
