Our client, a forward-thinking and ambitious advanced engineering business, is seeking a visionary Managing Director to steer the organisation through its next phase of international expansion. Specialising in delivering innovative manufacturing solutions, the company leverages cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and precision for its clients. Its expertise spans automation, bespoke machine design, and advanced robotics.

The Managing Director will collaborate closely with the board and shareholders to drive the execution of the company’s strategic growth agenda. This entails overseeing all aspects of the business’s operations while cultivating partnerships to capitalise on global opportunities and maximise commercial outcomes.

We are seeking a talented leader with an exceptional track record of success, achieved over at least 10 years in a senior management role (Senior Manager, Director, Business Unit Manager), within a manufacturing environment and engineering environment which includes inspiring high-performing technical teams, and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, creativity, and collaboration.

Experience in reporting at executive/board level on business performance is important and exposure to the adoption of advanced technologies such as factory automation and robotics would be ideal.
