VANRATH are delighted to be assisting our client, a prestigious and very important Public Sector Organisation with the recruitment of a Community Programme Officer to join their team based in Belfast.

This is a Full-Time Monday - Friday position. 37 hours per week. Monday - Friday 9 - 5.

Temporary contract to cover long-term sickness.

Salary

£34,525 per annum, plus benefits.

The Community Partnership Officer supports organisations delivering services to victims and survivors of historical conflicts, abuse, and institutional care. The role focuses on development, guidance, and collaboration to improve support services.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with partner organisations and stakeholders to enhance services for victims and survivors.
  • Assist organisations in developing and monitoring strategic delivery plans aligned with funding targets.
  • Provide guidance on managing grants and update related policies and procedures.
  • Identify training needs, build organisational capacity, and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Report on outcomes, maintain records, and contribute to business planning and KPIs.
  • Represent the organisation at meetings and events.
  • Provide evidence-based advice to senior management and prepare reports.
  • Promote collaboration and uphold high professional standards.
  • Adhere to organisational policies and adapt to evolving responsibilities.

Essential Criteria:

  • 3+ years of experience in community or voluntary sector projects.
  • Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships.
  • Staff management or team coordination experience.
  • Experience in developing and monitoring evaluation frameworks.
  • Skilled in analysing financial and non-financial data.
  • Valid UK driving license (or suitable alternative arrangements).

Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge of Government-funded projects
