- THE ROLE -
To provide a comprehensive professional secretarial and support service to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor & Executive Dean (PVC & ED) for Global Partnerships. Main duties will include providing an effective and efficient personal secretarial service, incorporating complex diary and calendar management, including prioritising of meetings/appointments, booking international travel and co-ordinating nominated representatives e.g. Heads of Schools to represent the PVC & ED at meetings as required.
- ABOUT YOU -
- A good standard of numeracy and literacy either by qualification or evidenced by work-related activities.
- Experience in a personal secretarial capacity in support of a senior manager, including working with sensitive and confidential material.
- Experience of electronic diary management for a senior manager in a large organisation who works across multiple locations, including making travel arrangements.
- Experience of arranging and servicing meetings in a business/work environment including taking notes and contributing to the work/actions arising from committees/meetings.
- Experience of drafting routine correspondence, papers, reports and spreadsheets, and the preparation and formatting of documents, extracting and manipulating data and information across different desktop and IT office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) ensuring an integrated approach.
- Willing to travel between campuses and work outside normal office hours on occasion to meet the needs of the role.
