Stranmillis University College currently delivers a significant Hospitality, Accommodation and Conferencing Service with over 400 bedrooms in our student halls of residence, numerous conferencing facilities, spaces available for external hire and a number of food outlets all currently situated on campus. The post holder will report to the Director of Corporate Services and Development. The purpose of the role is to lead the Hospitality, Accommodation and Conferencing Services (HACS) team in delivering an excellent customer experience across the breadth of services delivered by the HACS team comprising of student halls accommodation, hospitality and conferencing services, room hire and business development opportunities.

The post holder will develop, implement and deliver strategies to maintain and grow the income streams, increase efficiency and enhance customer/ student experience. The post holder will be responsible for the efficient running of the HACS Department so that the needs of student residents, students, conference delegates, guests, customers and staff are fully met.

Working closely with the HACS team to deliver operational and strategic objectives and to ensure an efficient and professional service to all stakeholders.

The role will require close working across all departments of the University College with particular emphasis in liaising with student services, marketing and finance.
