Tiler - Northern Ireland Housing Executive Belfast

Tiler urgently required to work with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive based in Stewartstown Road, Belfast.
The work pattern will be Monday to Thursday 8.30am until 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am until 4pm. The rate of pay will be £13.24 and initially this will be for 3 months with the possibility of an extension.
The successful candidate will undertake all tiling tasks associated with the refurbishment and maintenance of Northern Ireland Housing Executive buildings completing tasks such as internal and external wall and floor tiling works, preparing and laying floor screed, fitting non-slip flooring, adhering to health and safety regulations and providing excellent quality customer service.
The successful candidate will also be required to carry out a range of multi-skilled maintenance work such as plastering, plumbing, joinery and painting on occasion whilst driving to various locations.

What We Need From You

• Successfully completed an apprenticeship in Tiling
• Two year experience post Apprenticeship Tiler level
• Competent in other trades with ability to complete a range of tasks without input from other operatives
• Demonstrate practical knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety regulations
• Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle. Full C1 licence category would be desirable
• Willing to undergo an Access NI police check
