We are currently working with a large Public Sector Health Organisation in recruiting for a Band 5 Senior HR Officer until approx 31st March 2025.

JOB SUMMARY: The post holder will be a member of a team of HR staff responsible for the maintenance of effective employee relations, attendance and inclusion service.
KEY RESULT AREAS / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in fostering and maintaining an effective employee relations, attendance and inclusion service in accordance with good Human Resources practice.
- Support the Team to provide advice and assistance to managers, TU’s, staff and other parties on ERAI queries
- Case manage employee relations and attendance cases prioritising and highlighting red flag cases for escalation.
- Undertake investigations as appropriate.
- Provide HR support to officers undertaking investigations.
- Co-ordinate and manage divisional ACD’s
- Co-ordinate and manage return to work spot checks
- Undertake the delivery of training to support ERAI service delivery;
- Support and advise B4’s on preparation of ER and Attendance Hearings and Appeals
- Undertake and participate in the AFC job analysis/job evaluation processes as appropriate.

Criteria: Relevant University Degree or equivalent higher education qualification plus 1 years’ experience in a Human Resources department working at Health and Social Care Band 4 or equivalent including experience in some or all of the following areas:
- case management
- management / supervision of staff
- delegation / allocation of work
- training of other staff
OR
Certificate in Personnel recognised by CIPD plus 2 year's experience in a Human Resources department working at Health and Social Care Band 4 or equivalent including experience in some or all of the following areas:
- case management
- management / supervision of staff
- delegation / allocation of work
- training of other staff
OR
3 year's experience in Human Resources department working at Health and Social Care Band 4 or equivalent including experience in some or all of the following areas:
- case management
- management / supervision of staff
- delegation / allocation of work
- training of other staff
