Benefits:

  • Rate of pay: £18.26 per hour
  • Hours of Work: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.
  • Duration of post: Maternity cover (Up to 7 months)
  • Location: Mossley Mill but may be required at other locations within the Borough
  • Please note the closing date for this position is Friday 24th January 2025
You will support the communications team in delivering the digital marketing priorities. Duties will include:
  • creation and management of digital marketing campaigns via online channels.
  • writing content for social media channels to sustain an engaging audience experience and to increase audience satisfaction.
  • creating engaging video content for use across social media channels.
  • research and analysis of digital trends, including social media ad performance and web visitor data.
Criteria:
  • Applicants must possess a minimum of a third level qualification in a relevant discipline such as marketing, digital marketing, PR/Advertising
2 years’ experience in a Digital Marketing role to include:
  • Planning, implementing delivering and reporting on organic and paid social media campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Producing high quality written, video and photography content across multiple channels.
  • Developing and implementing social media reporting metrics to evaluate success and optimise performance.
  • Excellent copywriting, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and of own initiative to meet deadlines set.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with a wide range of people
  • Knowledge and understanding of a range of social media channels including their different features, functionality and audiences.
  • Full current driving licence or if disability prevents driving, access to a suitable form of transport to enable the duties of the post to be carried out in full
