Social Worker - Prisoner Support Project - Belfast (NI89/01/25/1v-1)

Salary: Grade 5 salary scale (5.11 starting point) : £27,241 - £30,109 per annum, plus annual £3,000 social worker allowance (pro rata)
Hours: 40 standard hours (including breaks) (Flexibility Required)
Contract Status: Permanent
Location: Royal Avenue, Belfast - onsite parking available

About the service:? Working in partnership with Northern Ireland Prison Service this project will support safe and resilient communities by challenging offending behaviour and supporting rehabilitation of short-term offenders. Through sustained and intensive case management the project will challenge individuals’ behaviour and support them to become active and responsible citizens. The focus of the intervention will be to reduce offending and the contact with the criminal justice system through a reduction in drug and alcohol use and improving the individual’s mental health.
