Role: Helpdesk Administrator – Temporary – Lisburn
Job Overview
VANRATH is assisting a leading FMCG organisation, in their search for a Helpdesk Administrator on a temporary contract. You will serve as a primary point of contact for customer support, managing enquiries, issues, and requests. Responding with professionalism, you will resolve matters directly or escalate them as needed, delivering outstanding customer service and fostering strong relationships.
Salary: £12 per hour
Temporary Contract
Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls confidently and professionally, meeting response time targets and adhering to company procedures.
  • Process fault reports and machine orders accurately, ensuring correct product allocation and timely completion.
  • Resolve customer queries by liaising with internal teams, providing clear updates until issues are fully resolved.
  • Deliver basic technical support over the phone, escalating issues effectively when necessary.
  • Maintain and manage systems to log, track, and update service requests in accordance with agreed SLAs.
  • Support revenue growth by recommending products and identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Monitor and respond promptly to out-of-hours voicemails, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in a technical support or call-handling role with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proficiency in handling technical queries and providing solutions over the phone.
  • Solid administrative background, including accurate data processing skills.
  • Proven ability to upsell products or services to customers.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the coffee industry or a related field.
  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
  • Formal customer service training.
