Key Responsibilities:

• Work along side your colleagues across engineering to preform code reviews and security scans
• Collaborate with the Senior Cyber Architect to analyse results, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with development teams to address and resolve cybersecurity risks.
• Ensure all products released to the market adhere to the latest cybersecurity standards and best practices.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Evidence knowledge of formal cybersecurity controls and best practices, e.g., OWASP Top 10, NIST 800-53.
• Development experience with authentication, authorization, SDKs, APIs, and basic networking.
• Understand cybersecurity vulnerabilities:
• Authentication vs. authorization
• Vulnerability vs. weakness
• SQL injection, buffer overflow, and cryptographic issues

Desirable Criteria:

• Familiarity with software release pipelines: VCS, branching/tagging, CI/CD.
• Cybersecurity certifications: Security+, CCSP, CISSP, CEH.
• Knowledge of CVEs, CWEs, and threat modeling.
• Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, software engineering, or related STEM field.
• Understanding of asymmetric vs. symmetric cryptography.
