Commercial Accountant - Belfast

MCS Group are looking for a Commercial Accountant to join an NI Top 100 company based in Belfast.

The Company:

Our client is an NI Top 100 company in Belfast and have multiple offices and sites across NI, ROI and Europe. They have a range of business units that provide multiple services and products to their global customers base. Now is a great time to be joining the company as they look to add a Commercial Accountant to one of their business units.

The Role:

As the successful Commercial Accountant you will report directly to the Commercial Financial Controller and will be responsible for the following:

• Investigate stock loss variances;
• Reviewing, bench marking and budgeting of gross margin;
• Preparation of capex proposals;
• Identify profit making opportunities;
• Business cases for potential acquisitions;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Commercial Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA;
• Open to industry or practice background;
• Strong commercial acumen;
• Strong communication skills.
