Finance Officer

The role

• Take the lead on transaction processing.
• Play a pivotal role in the finance function, establishing monthly controls to ensure effective governance and accurate reporting.
• Develop and oversee cash management processes, including managing bank account funding.
• Prepare and deliver monthly spend control reports, including transparency data and prompt payment returns.
• Process monthly journals, including submissions from budget holders.
• Engage with key stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

• Financial admin experience

Desirable:

• Experience of working in a government department.
