Junior JavaScript Developer

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a local family-run company who have been established for 20 years in the industry. They are expecting an exciting year of expansion, and are hiring a JavaScript Developer to join their team!

Their products are used globally and there are various projects you will gain great exposure to, with key mentorship along the way. No two days are the same!

What you will bring

• Fundamental knowledge of coding languages, preferably JavaScript
• Strong placement year using JavaScript is beneficial
• A solid foundation in software engineering principles and practices
• You will play an integral role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that contribute to the organisation's success and growth
• Ability to work on-site

The Role

• Write clean, well-structured code across the software stack
• Prioritise scalability, reliability, and performance
• Participate actively in code reviews to elevate code quality
• Collaborate closely with cross functional teams
