Quantity Surveyor

Based in Lisburn my client is a market leading manufacturer to the construction industry who are leaders in their field. They work in a variety of fields including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education. At the moment they are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor who holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar relevant qualification with preferably 5+ years construction experience though lesser experienced candidates might also be considered. Salary is up to £58,000, 33 holidays, large pension, life assurance, early finish on Fridays and travel to site is approximately 1 day per month.

Role: Quantity Surveyor

· To be responsible for preparing and submitting interim valuations for projects monthly to ensure positive cash flow throughout projects.

· To provide assistance, support and guidance on commercial issues and developing a culture of contractual awareness in project teams

· To be responsible for the preparation of interim valuations/ applications for payment including negotiating project final accounts

· Produce internal cost/ value reports

· Administrate subcontractor/supplier accounts, including the monitoring and processing of payments and settlement of final accounts

· Preparation of technical estimates

· To review and assist with the administration of subcontracts for each project.

· Entering budgets and costings on the company's management information software system

· Responsible for logging and recording Contracts / Bonds / Insurances / Retentions / Collateral
