Procurement Contract Administrator – Law Graduate

Location: Belfast

About the Firm: We are representing a renowned law firm seeking a dedicated Procurement Contract Administrator to join their Procurement Strategy and Operations (PSO) Team. This role is ideal for a law graduate aiming to apply their legal expertise within a dynamic procurement environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that all contracts adhere to the firm's established standard terms and conditions.

  • Manage and update the contract repository, validating content and tracking key data points.

  • Prepare and issue contract template documents, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), to vendors.

  • Assist in reviewing and negotiating new contracts and renewals as needed.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a Vendor Due Diligence Programme.

  • Support the ongoing deployment of a Contract Management System.

  • Prepare and dispatch contract notices and NDAs to vendors as required.

  • Facilitate the contract execution process between the firm and its vendors.

  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.

Skills and Experience:


  • Undergraduate degree in Law or a related field; equivalent experience considered.

  • Prior experience in a contract administration support role is preferred.

  • Familiarity with contract implementation processes is advantageous.

  • Experience within a non-manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Understanding of commercial contract structures.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Strong oral and written communication abilities with a professional demeanor.

  • Capacity to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact tactfully with personnel at all levels.

  • Demonstrated initiative and innovative problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet schedules and deadlines.
