Vanrath are supporting the recruitment of a Catering Technician Band 4 for a large public sector company within the Coleraine area on a temporary basis.

What you’ll do

• To supervise and maintain the operation of particular Curriculum practical areas (campus Canteen, Training Restaurant, associated Training Kitchens, classrooms).

• To supervise Band 2 and Band 3 Support staff within these areas.

• To provide expert support and assistance to Lecturing staff and students using these areas.

• To oversee all technical, operational and supply requirements associated with these areas.

• To ensure required levels of catering delivery for college staff, students and other users associated with these areas by Curriculum during set operating hours.

• To support and collaborate effectively with the Curriculum Manager in the day-to-day fulfilment of catering and associated teaching delivery across the campus, ensuring optimum levels of customer service.

About you
Essential:

• Applicants must have GCSE Maths grade A – C or equivalent.
• Proven ability to demonstrate the effective use of resources.
• Proven ability to maintain safe working practices whilst complying with Health & Safety & Hygiene Regulations
• Ability to work and communicate effectively both orally to stakeholders.
• Ability to be enthuse and motivate self.
• Proven experience of the operation and cleaning of machinery, hand tools and / or equipment.
