Job Overview
Join a leading name in the Logistics and Transport industry as a Plant Maintenance Engineer. This full-time, mobile role involves delivering high-quality maintenance, repairs, and servicing of machinery at client sites. You’ll play a key role in ensuring equipment safety and compliance with manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site maintenance and repair of machinery to meet manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Identify and report faults or safety concerns promptly.
- Accurately complete all documentation, including hard copies and digital records.
- Collaborate with the parts team to secure necessary components promptly.
- Take on additional related duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Relevant qualification in Construction/Plant Maintenance or proven experience as a technician/engineer in plant maintenance.
- Expertise in diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault diagnosis.
- High attention to detail, ensuring first-time quality workmanship.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and proactive in approach.
- Possession of a full, valid UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- A valid CSR card is advantageous.
Key Skills:
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical and vehicular repairs.
