Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance and repair of machinery to meet manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct comprehensive inspections and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Identify and report faults or safety concerns promptly.
• Accurately complete all documentation, including hard copies and digital records.
• Collaborate with the parts team to secure necessary components promptly.
• Take on additional related duties as required.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• Relevant qualification in Construction/Plant Maintenance or proven experience as a technician/engineer in plant maintenance.
• Expertise in diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault diagnosis.
• High attention to detail, ensuring first-time quality workmanship.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and proactive in approach.
• Possession of a full, valid UK driving licence.

Desirable:

• A valid CSR card is advantageous.

Key Skills:

• Strong customer service abilities.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical and vehicular repairs.
