Our client, A Large public sector organisation, based in Ballykelly are looking for a Staff Officer (Business Consultant) to join their team
Rate of pay: £17.94ph Weekly Pay
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm
Job outline including main duties / Purpose of Job/Function of Role- To assist in the development of evidence-based rural policy for Northern Ireland.
To assist in the development of a co-design plan to develop the policy in collaboration with stakeholders.
To analyse evidence and research to make informed policy.
To assist in the development and delivery of a consultation of future rural policy proposals.
Engaging with policy makers across government, including other jurisdictions and rural stakeholders.
To co-design plans for a new rural champion model to help support the delivery of the wider policy objectives in relation to agriculture and the environment.
Essential Experience & Qualifications required.
• Policy Development – experience of developing policy alongside good written and analytical skill
• Project management – experience of liaising with different departments/ delivery leads to ensure work is delivered on time to a high standard.
Desired Experience and Qualifications.
A qualification or experience in business studies, economics or a related field.
