About the Role:
Signatus are partnering with a leading alternative legal
solutions provider seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of
e-Discovery. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of end-to-end
e-Discovery services, manage a dynamic team, and drive process improvements to
enhance service offerings. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring efficient
project execution, fostering client relationships, and contributing to revenue
growth.
In this role your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead
and manage the e-Discovery project management team to ensure successful
delivery of review projects and services.
- Mentor
and onboard new team members for seamless integration and effectiveness.
- Oversee
discovery and DSAR projects, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and
high-quality outcomes.
- Serve
as the organisation's foremost e-Discovery expert, addressing escalations
and team queries.
- Establish
consistent, efficient, and repeatable delivery processes while driving
quality improvements.
- Identify
and facilitate growth opportunities with existing and new clients to drive
revenue growth.
- Build
and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and
long-term engagements.
- Lead
business development efforts in collaboration with the commercial team to
expand client reach.
- Monitor
project margins to align with company standards and ensure financial
objectives are met.
- Identify
and implement new products or solutions to enhance service offerings and
market positioning.
- Drive
continuous improvement through process enhancements and root cause
analysis.
- Ensure
the team is equipped with necessary skills, capacity, and tools to meet
project demands effectively.
- Plan
and allocate resources efficiently, maximizing team productivity and
project success.
- Manage
technology vendors and ensure e-Discovery platforms meet project
requirements while staying updated on industry trends.
About You:
- Minimum
of 8 years' experience in e-Discovery project management within law firms,
vendors, corporate legal departments, or professional service companies,
with at least 4 years in a management/leadership role.
- Proven
track record of revenue growth through account expansion and securing new
clients.
- Ability
to coach, mentor, and develop team members to ensure career growth and
build team capabilities.
- Success
in overseeing multiple simultaneous projects with a focus on rigorous
quality control processes.
- Demonstrated
ability to define and implement process-based approaches, utilizing strong
data analysis skills.
- In-depth
knowledge of the e-Discovery tech landscape, preferably with expert-level
knowledge of a review platform such as Reveal.
- Fully
qualified Solicitor or Barrister is advantageous.
- Possess
good judgment in decision-making and creativity in problem-solving.
- Superior
client expectation management and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive
and KPI-driven with a focus on continuous improvement.
