VANRATH are pleased to be partnered with a large public sector employer in the Lurgan area in their recruitment of 2x Financial Accountants. This is an opportunity to join an organisation with an outstanding reputation within the local community and become part of a high performing finance team.

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the management of the corporate financial accounting function and ensuring the provision of effective and efficient financial accounts preparation to the Trust.

These are initially interim contract positions for a period of 6 months and can offer the opportunity for an immediate start.

About you

• Qualified Accountant
• Public sector experience (desirable)
• Proven ability to influence, interact and consult with senior leaders
• Experience of managing a team
• Strong IT skills including MS Excel

What you’ll do

• Manage monthly financial accounting arrangements and capital accounting system
• Reconcile and review of all control account balances
• Compile year end financial accounts from trial balance
• Maintenance and development of all financial systems
